Our Work

TUTION CENTRES

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

-Benjamin Franklin

Among tribal most of the school going children are the first generation learners. That means parents are illiterates and unable to provide educational supports to their own children in the form of reading and helping the child to learn the lesson. And there is no electricity also and children are expected to learn everything before sunsets. To learn English there was no dictionary available. Moreover children are forced to help their parents in cooking, agriculture and labour works like stone breaking, cattling, etc,…In addition of these practical problems, the quality of learning in schools is poor, and  tribal children are often neglected. As they are unable to participate effectively in the learning process, the children find the school boring.

The role of RICT is to motivate the children and parents, and conducting tuition both morning and evening by placing qualified teachers. At present we have 7centers. We support the children by supplying stationeries, winter cloths, blankets, hygienic things, casual wears, etc….Through tuition centers children are encouraged to learn basic things like reading, writing and speaking. As we are doing it with the compassion of Christ, we are responsible for them to give Christian values and discipline. So we also conduct Sunday classes and VBS classes during holidays.

 SCHOOL

Lack of education is one of the important factors contributing to the ignorance and poverty of the Tribes.

Our mission had been running a elementary school in one of the centre for three years.  By God’s will presently we are planning to offer a free primary education in   English medium for tribal children with the opportunity of higher quality education.

MEDICAL CAMPS

Healthcare is a basic right of a human being which should be available for everyone and shouldn’t be treated as a commodity only for those who can spend money to buy the services

Once in a year, our mission is offering free medical camps to bring awareness amongst the deprived population who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from. So, through medical camps we provide free medical advice, medicine to the unfortunate people and refer for specialized treatment or surgery whoever is required.

BIBLE STUDY CENTRES

‘..my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge;…’

Isa 5:13

Without solid biblical instruction, establishing God’s kingdom will be tragedy. Jesus declared that favor with God must involve hearing and learning from God (Jn. 6:45).

Knowing the crisis for God’s word among poor Christians, in our mission fields, our mission is conducting bible study, wherever God opens the door.

Presently, we are having bible study centers in two districts in 45 villages.  We form small groups at least with five members in each village. Among them we choose people with thirst for God’s word and give them one year certificate course. This makes them to open their eyes to fulfill His will in their lives.

CHURCH PLANTING

To fulfill the Great Commission of Christ and to make the disciple of Christ we plant churches with well trained pastors.
